Team Workload Visualizer for Jira

Documentation & Support · No data leaves Atlassian

Team Workload Visualizer shows your team's workload on a single dashboard: open issues, story points, due dates and overdue work per assignee — with a traffic-light indicator that tells you at a glance who has too much on their plate.

Getting started

  1. Install the app from the Atlassian Marketplace.
  2. In Jira, open Apps → Team Workload.
  3. Pick a project from the dropdown — that's it. The dashboard shows one card per assignee with their open issues.

FAQ

Why don't I see any story points?
The app auto-detects your story point field. In team-managed projects, make sure the Estimation feature is enabled in the project settings.

Why is a project missing from the dropdown?
Either a Jira admin restricted the visible projects in the app settings, or you don't have browse permission for that project — the app only ever shows what you are allowed to see in Jira.

Does the app change my issues?
No. The app has read-only access to Jira and cannot modify anything.

Privacy & Security

The app runs entirely on Atlassian Forge, stores nothing but its own settings, and has zero external egress — no data ever leaves Atlassian. Details: Privacy Policy · Security Policy.
